Le XA3, introduit en 1980, était une version simplifiée du XA avec une mise au point par zone et un système d'exposition programmé. Le posemètre était un capteur d'exposition CdS au-dessus de l'objectif. La plage de vitesse d'obturation était de 2 secondes. au 1/750. La distance minimale de mise au point était de 3 pieds ou 0,9 mètre. Sa plage de vitesse de film était ASA 25-800.
Un remplacement du rétroéclairage est disponible dans un multi-commutateur au bas de la caméra. Une pièce unique par rapport au XA2 qui est exactement la même barre que celle-ci. Cela donne 1,5 arrêts supplémentaires d'exposition. Le commutateur dispose également d'une fonction de vérification de la batterie et du retardateur.
Cet appareil photo argentique des années 80 est idéal pour les débutants, les amateurs et les professionnels. Il est en excellent état et est prêt à produire une autre vie de photos fantastiques.
