Olympus a présenté l'appareil photo compact µ[mju:] ZOOM 140 en mai 1998. Le nouveau modèle haut de gamme de la série µ[mju:] est doté d'un objectif zoom 38-140 mm 3,7x et d'un design élégant. En plus de la version noire, une édition champagne-or est disponible.
La dernière version conserve les contours profilés et la barrière de lentille coulissante de la série µ[mju:], clés de son style sophistiqué ainsi que de sa portabilité facile. Et le zoom puissant 38-140 apporte une autre dimension à la photographie de loisir.
