Le Minolta X-500 (X-570 US) est un reflex 35 mm à mise au point manuelle utilisant la monture d'objectif SR (souvent appelée à tort monture MC ou MD, qui étaient en fait des séries d'objectifs) qui était utilisée sur tous les reflex 35 mm à mise au point manuelle Minolta. corps (sauf pour le Minolta ER) à partir de 1958.
Le X-500 est basé sur le X-700 précédent mais avait des fonctionnalités supprimées par Minolta pour réduire le prix.
