La Minolta X-500 (X-570 US) è una 35mm con messa a fuoco manuale SLR che utilizza l'innesto dell'obiettivo SR (spesso indicato erroneamente come innesto MC o MD, che in realtà erano una serie di obiettivi) che è stato utilizzato su tutti i corpi SLR da 35 mm con messa a fuoco manuale Minolta (eccetto Minolta ER) a partire dal 1958.

L'X-500 è basato sul precedente X-700, ma le caratteristiche sono state rimosse da Minolta per ridurre il prezzo.
