Descrizione

La prima fotocamera SLR Canon da 35 mm con messa a fuoco automatica. Il sistema AF utilizza un array CCD lineare per il rilevamento del contrasto dell'immagine TTL. La modalità di scatto può essere selezionata con i pittogrammi sul pannello LCD esterno. È stato introdotto nell'aprile 1985 e interrotto nel giugno 1986 e fa parte della serie T di fotocamere con attacco FD. Non è compatibile con il successivo sistema EOS di Canon e con i suoi obiettivi con innesto EF con messa a fuoco automatica.
