La Olympus Trip MD2 se presentó a finales de los años 80. La Trip MD2 es una cámara compacta de 35 mm totalmente automática, con motor y enfoque fijo , fabricada por Olympus . Era uno de una serie de modelos baratos de foco fijo con la marca Olympus Trip . Tenía un botón de "enfoque a distancia" en la parte inferior marcado con el icono de las montañas.
