Lubitel (cirílico: Любитель) que significa "aficionado" en ruso. El Lubitel 166U era un TLR de nivel de entrada que fue diseñado en base a la cámara Voigtlander Brilliant TLR de principios de la década de 1930 con varias mejoras, lo que lo convierte en una excelente opción para los aficionados que buscan una introducción económica a la fotografía de formato medio . La Lubitel 2 se fabricó entre 1954 y 1980 con más de dos millones de unidades producidas por Lomo en Leningrado (ahora San Petersburgo), Rusia.

El Lubitle usa película de formato medio/120, cuenta con Cooke Triplet, lentes completamente de vidrio con un Apeture r de f/4.5 a f/22, y velocidades de obturación de bulbo a 1/250 de segundo.
