What condition are the products?

We are primary a second hand camera seller, therefore it's to be assumed that all items for sale are in used condition unless otherwise stated.

Most of the cameras and equipment we sell were manufactured between 1950 and 2010 so have lived a previous life.

We do also offer a range of new film camera, new digital cameras and new accessories which can be found on our website.

Condition of each item for sale is stated in the item specification.

Do you test your cameras for selling?

Absolutely. All our cameras are thoroughly cleaned, tested and serviced before being listed for sale on our website.

Do your cameras come with a guarantee?

Yes they do. All our items come with a 30 day money back or exchange guarantee, if the product is faulty.


Can I cancel my order?

If your order has not yet been shipped, it is still possible to cancel the order. However, if the order has already been sent and you would like to cancel it, you will have to pay the total cost of return shipping.

What if I want to speak to someone?

We want to speak to you too! Contact us with any questions, concerns, or feedback. We will be sure to get back to you within 48 hours. However, please note that inquiries sent on Fridays will receive a reply the following Monday, but possibly sooner.

What happens after I place my order?

After your order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email on the email address you are registered with on our website. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see an order confirmation in your inbox.

I am having technical difficulties placing my order. What can I do?

Please contact us at with a detailed description of the difficulties you’ve encountered. Please include as much detail as possible (e.g. a screenshot), as well as the address you would like your item(s) to be shipped to. You can also contact us by phone and we’ll place an order for you.


How long will it take to receive my order?

  1. UK Standard orders are shipped via DHL Courier Tracked 48 hours (FREE)
  2. UK Express orders are shipped via DHL Courier Tracked 24 Hours (£8.99)
  3. International Orders are shipped via DHL Courier Tracked International (£20) or FREE on orders over £200

We offer Free standard shipping on all UK orders of cameras and accessories. We charge postage on orders of just 35mm film, to qualify for free shipping add a camera to the order. 

Do you provide tracking for parcels?

Absolutely. Once your order has been packaged and dispacted, you'll receive an email with link to courier website with the full tracking details.

What countries do you ship to?

We currently ship to all countries around the world. All orders are packaged and dispatched from our warehouse in the UK.

I missed the delivery and my order was sent back. What should I do?

Please contact the shipping company and us with your tracking number. If your package was unclaimed, the address you provided was incorrect or the shipping company couldn’t reach you in several attempts, a re-shipment fee will be applicable.

I think my package is lost. What should I do?

Please check the tracking number, which was emailed to you. Send all the information concerning your package to and we will do our best to locate your package.   

Do I have to pay a custom fee on orders outside of the UK?

All the items ordered from Film Camera Store will be shipped from the UK. Imports to countries outside of the UK may incur import duties, which is the responsibility of the buyer. Film Camera Store is not responsible for, and cannot offer specific advice on, import and custom fees.

Returns and Refunds

How do I return a product?

Items must be returned within 14 days after receiving your order. Items must be returned in the same condition in which they were received, be unused, have any tags still attached, and include all the original packaging.
