8秒から1/1000秒までの電子フォーカルプレーンシャッターを備えたPentax ME絞り優先自動カメラ、1/100秒で同期。シャッター幕は金属製で上下に動きます。シャッターダイヤルはなく、Bと1/100露出を除いて、カメラはマニュアルモードで使用できませんでした.ペンタックスが発明したデジタル露出計は、標準のTTL開放絞り中央重点タイプでした。リリースボタンを軽く押すと起動しました。
