Die Minolta X-370s war eine der letzten SLR-Kameragehäuse mit niedrigerem Budget, die für Minoltas Rokkor-Objektive mit manueller Fokussierung gebaut wurden. Es bot eine automatische Belichtung in einem bevorzugten Blendenmodus. Die manuelle Auswahl der Verschlusszeit war ebenfalls möglich. Das Kameragehäuse wurde in China hergestellt, vielleicht von Seagull, dem Unternehmen, das einst bestimmte Vermögenswerte von Minolta für die Herstellung von Minolta-ähnlichen SLR-Kameragehäusen erhielt.
Die Minolta X-370 ist eine 35-mm-Spiegelreflexkamera mit manueller Fokussierung, die den SR-Objektivanschluss verwendet (oft fälschlicherweise als MD-Anschluss bezeichnet, was eigentlich eine Objektivserie ist und für „Minimum Diaphragm“ steht), der für alle verwendet wurde Minolta manuelle Fokuskörper ab 1958.
