The Leica AF-C1 was produced between 1989-1991 and was Leica's first introduction to compact autofocus cameras.
The Leica AF-C1 was based on the Minolta AF-Tele Super but added the infamous Leica quality to the camera. The Camera features a shutter speed range of 1/8 s - 1/400 s, a twin-focal length, switchable from 40 mm f/2.8 to 80 mm f/5.6, with center-weighted integral metering with automatic flash activation in low light or extreme contrast, and an active multi-beam infrared autofocus with focus memory and coupled exposure memory.
