Die Minolta Dynax 500si war eine leichte Autofokus-SLR Kamera für 35-mm-Filme, hergestellt von Minolta. Es war das gleiche Kameragehäuse wie die Minolta Maxxum XTsi für den amerikanischen und die Minolta Alpha Sweet für den japanischen Markt. Seine herausragenden Merkmale waren die "cust"-Funktionen, 9 Programme für unterschiedliche Belichtungseinstellungen und die Eye-Start-Funktion (der Autofokus beginnt zu arbeiten, wenn der Sucher zum Auge bewegt wird).

- Belichtungsmessung: 14-Felder TTL messend, spontan umschaltbar auf Spotmessung über Mittelfeld
- Fokussierung: 2 vertikale AF-Sensoren und ein zentraler Kreuzsensor, gesteuert durch ein Fuzzy-Logic-System, umschaltbar auf manuelle Fokussierung oder Verwendung eines einzelnen Sensors. Ein Fokussierungsprioritätsmodus erlaubt eine Verschlussauslösung nur nach korrekter Fokussierung

How is camera condition graded?
How is camera condition graded?
We choose our stock carefully so that they are all in good condition, but the cosmetic condition option for the camera is split into three different categories within this:
A "Near Mint +" camera will look almost new; it may have a few superficial signs of use or age (Top 1/3rd of stock).
A "Very Good" camera will also look nice but it will have more signs of wear such as worn down paint and small scratches on the metal (Middle 1/3rd of stock).
An "Average" camera will have more severe signs of wear/use such as deeper scratches, black specs and more obvious blemishes (Bottom 1/3rd of stock).
None of the cosmetic defects will have an impact on the mechanical working or functionality of the camera.
